In the Year 2000, William Head & Jim Love decided to open a restaurant where people could come & enjoy great food & great sports. Despite the fact they had no food service experience, the two men put their heads together & began making plans to open the “Neighborhood Sports Grille”. Deciding where to open the Sports Grille/Restaurant was an easy one; Trussville, Alabama. The area was booming & the people of Trussville are passionate about their favorite sports & teams. The Grille was conveniently located right off Interstate 459 on Highway 11, in the Trussville Plaza shopping center between the Raceway and Chevron stations. The menu would consist of everything from chicken wings, salads, steaks, burgers, sandwiches & seafood. With the help & knowledge of a great kitchen staff, the food proved to be some of the best In the area and remains so today. But not only was the food going to be delicious, it was also going to be affordable. So, The Neighborhood Sports Grille was born. It continues to thrive today. With its' great appeal to the sports fan delicious food & live musical entertainment there is something for everyone. Now in our tenth year of operation, Neighborhood Sports Grille is an expanded version of its' original self offering two 10 ft projection screen TVs & fourteen other TVs lining the walls. There is a separate non-smoking area with a big screen TV & pool table. Because the Neighborhood Sports Grille is not a large chain operation, you truly get the feeling you are in your very own neighborhood where everyone knows your name, favorite drink & the team you pull for.
